To enter the Go Pro Challenge Video and Photo Contest, simply complete a Professional-level PADI certification (Divemaster, Open Water Scuba Instructor or above) before 1 October 2007 and create a video or captioned photo describing, “Why I Became a PADI Pro.” Submit the winning video or photo and you’ll win the $10,000 prize. Plus, your video will be shown at the PADI Member Social during the DEMA Show 2007 this October.
Current PADI Pros can also participate by earning another professional-level PADI rating before 1 October 2007 and submitting a video or captioned photograph.
Go PRO Challenge Professional Rating Contest
Supercharge your career as PADI Professional by entering the Go Pro Challenge Professional Rating competition. Open to PADI Members in four regions around the world: PADI Europe, PADI International Limited (UK) combined with PADI Nordic, PADI Asia Pacific, and PADI Americas combined with PADI Canada.
PADI Professionals accumulate points throughout 2007 by completing professional-level courses and certifying divers with that same course. The PADI Professional accumulating the most points in each region wins $10,000 US – making a total of $40,000 US available worldwide! PADI Japan is also offering special recognition to the PADI Professional who accumulates the most points in that region.
Participants achieving their Open Water Scuba Instructor, Specialty Course Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor certifications must certify at least one person using the new rating to earn the associated points. Certifications must be completed by 31 December, 2007 and applications will be processed by 15 January, 2008.
Points will be assigned as follows:
