Happy New Year indeed! 2007 started with a real bang at Aquanauts Diving Instructor Training as all five interns who took their PADI Instructor Exam not only passing, but again surpassing the incredible marks our students here have become accustomed to.
Brits Freddie Smith and Jules Norfolk, Americans Tom West and Todd Hutchins and Canadian Max Jaskiw soared through the three day exam, posting a mind-blowing 50 perfect scores out of a possible 60. The lowest water-skill score obtained by any Aquanauts student was 4.6 out of 5 and the lowest written exam was 96%.
While we here at Aquanauts would love to take all the credit for such outstanding scores, most of it really goes to these dedicated guys. What we did for them was provide an environment where their teamwork, comraderie and talent could flourish. Our Personalized Training System ensures that each of our two in-house Course Directors had no more than 4 students each during an IDC. Personal tutoring is always available and because we intentionally keep our internship program small, all the interns spend time both socializing and studying together so that the whole group, not just one or two people, achieve the marks these guys did.
Check out the photos below from the IDC and IE and read about our previous IDC/IEs and you'll see how the Aquanauts program has consistently produced top-quality instructors.
