Instructor IDC, Staff Course & IE -- March 2008

Call them "Team Australia."

Aquanauts' March 2008 Instructor Development Course was an all-Aussie affair and Vaughn Barton from Perth and Cameron Jenkins of Sydney did their country proud, passing the PADI Instructor Exam with flying colors.

Barton, who spent 11 years in Japan teaching English before jumping into the dive industry with Aquanauts, especially impressed, scoring perfect scores on all his confined and open water tests. Cameron also zoomed through the IE, without having to take any resits or makeups.

The March IDC also saw the ascension of longtime intern and Master Scuba Diver Trainer Sally Rathbone to IDC Staff Instructor. Her husband Simon did his IDC Staff course two months ago. Sally took a little longer because she was snatched up by a dive center in nearby Koh Chang just after finishing her IDC.
