Instructor Development Course & PADI Instructor Exam -- April 2008

They began on wildly different paths, but both Englishman Jason Orage and American Ryan Cove are now PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors after successfully completing their PADI Instructor Development Course and Instructor Exam through Aquanauts Dive Centre in April 2008.
Both sailed through the IDCs and IEs with near perfect scores. The course was run by Course Director Roger Smith, Master Instructor Gary Tytler and IDC Staff Instructor Sally Rathbone.
Cove, a student from New York, came to Aquanauts as a Divemaster after learning about Aquanauts last September through Scubaboard.com one of the Internet's largest diving message boards. Orage, of Norfolk, had been diving for seven years and had begun his Dive Con through SSI, but hadn't completed it. An advertising exec, he told us back in October last year he was "tired of the grind of working all hours."
Both have radically differnet lives now. Both Ryan and Jason have stayed on with Aquanauts are are now working toward their Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating. After that, where they go, time will only tell.
