Aquanauts Dive Centre capped a perfect 2008 with yet another PADI Instructor Exam in which all of its interns passed the IE on their first attempt.
Congratulations go out to Antony Giles, Selina Miller, Alex Rotherham, Martin Wagstaff and Darren Williams, who made Aquanauts the only Thailand internship program with a 100% pass rate for all of 2008.
As usual, Aquanauts interns took different routes to success. Giles, slated to join Aquanauts nearly a year ago, was delayed by issues back home and, when he arrived, planned only to go to the Divemaster level. Seeing Aquanauts' Personalized Training System at work, he decided to do his Instructor Development Course and plans to stay on to become a Master Scuba Diver Trainer.
Rotherham became an instructor despite accelerating his schedule, taking his instructor exam a month earlier than scheduled. Kudos on all the hard work!
No matter the obstacles, Aquanauts interns make it through their instructor course in high stlyle thanks to the hands-on, 1-on-1 instruction that has made the Aquanauts internship a hallmark of quality training.
This IDC also marked a milestone for Aquanauts staff instructor Dan Beldon who finally reached his goal of becoming an IDC Staff Instructor. Beldon manages the Aquanauts dive boat on a daily basis and is also a DSAT Tec Rec instructor. The IDC was also staffed by IDC Staff Instructor Sally Rathbone, Master Instructor Gary Tytler and Platinum Course Director Roger Smith.
Congratulations to all the new instructors!
